Hello, I’m Gaspard Gabriel. I'm a bass player from France with a deep passion for music in all its forms and the dynamic energy of performing live.
My musical roots run deep, from rock, soul, and jazz to funk, disco, acid jazz, and electronic beats. I focus on creating solid bass lines and grooves that seamlessly complement any composition or performance. While I see the bass as a fundamental pillar of the sound, I also strive to make it sing with warmth, depth, and resonance, blending harmoniously with other instruments.
I’ve had the privilege of touring across France with my band HS, as well as performing with a variety of jazz, funk, soul, and fusion ensembles in Paris. I recorded and played on countless music and shows. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoy working as a session musician, particularly in scoring music, where I can contribute my unique feel to another artist’s vision.
